CONCEPT: We were inspired by the concept of the sushi burritos themselves: Japanese meets Mexican and used the patterns and colors throughout the space to give a playful take on this fusion. The tile pattern on the walls is an artistic representation of a fish swimming, using a custom mosaic, while the traditional Mexican serape is painted on the perforated metal screen separating the cue line form the dining room. The space was meant to feel clean and fresh, like the food being served.
